Group Coaching, Workshops, and Retreats

There is Power In Numbers

Small Group Coaching and Workshops

Group coaching can be a great fit for many people seeking support on a particular topic.  Group coaching uses the smarts, connection and idea generation of a group of people to help individuals discover and shift their mindset in ways that may not be possible on their own.

With the group dynamic, individuals benefit from diversity in thought and experiences.  By hearing from others who have walked a different path to land in a shared space, group members can harness more generative energy and possibility.

The Coach facilitates the conversation to meet the aligned goals of the group, offering reflections and questions to spark new ideas and conversation. Coaches also help summarize learnings and how to move forward.  Group coaching can be a great introduction to the coaching process.  Groups can meet just once, or for multiple sessions.

Costa Rica Pilates & Wellness Retreat

New dates coming!

Nosara, Costa Rica

We’ll combine fitness, connection, fun and restoration for an unforgettable experience.    The foundation of the trip will be Pilates and wellness, and we’ll have a great variety of workouts focusing on strength, mobility and flexibility.  But, we’ll also experience local fresh food, world renowned beaches, and amazing company in a remote jungle paradise.  Your morning alarm will be howler monkeys chatting with each other, your nightcap will be a dip in the saltwater pool and laughs with your retreat companions.   We’ll balance scheduled activities with lots of flex and free time in between.   You’ll feel far away from the day to day, yet comfortable in a healthy and beautiful environment.

Pain in the Butt - Pilates + Group Coaching

New Dates Coming

Low back pain, tight hamstrings, hip tenderness….they all are a pain in the butt.  Join us on Zoom for this virtual 4-session workshop series designed to help release tension and increase mobility in some of your biggest muscle groups–the glutes, hips and thighs.  Tension and lack of mobility here can contribute to pain in many other parts of your body, and we’ll learn all about those surprising relationships, as well as how to relieve them.  We’ll focus on foundational Pilates mat exercises that can tap into new movement patterns in exercise, work and life.  As a group, we’ll also talk about the impact of how we live our lives outside of exercise that can contribute to hip tightness and glute pain.  Sitting, driving, unbalanced training…these are all obvious contributors that we’ll dig into.   We’ll also cover some less obvious factors that can make significant impacts, too.   Each session we’ll build on the prior through movement, learning, listening, and connecting–within ourselves and to each other.

*Note, this workshop is not intended to support acute injuries.  In case of a recent injury or surgery, please work with your doctor or physical therapist on a protocol for rehabilitation.

This workshop series is led by Kelly Gorder, NBC-HWC.  Kelly is a National Board Certified Professional Coach and a Balanced Body Comprehensive Certified Pilates instructor.

If you have any questions or are interested in learning more or being notified when this workshop will take place, please reach out to Kelly directly at kellyg@kellygorder.com.

Wellness Wednesday

Currently on hold and new programs coming!

The first Wednesday of every month, we dig into a new topic over Zoom in a group setting:

  • We'll take a bit of time to learn about the topic of the month, and then use the power of the group to prioritize, discuss and learn.

  • The goal is to come away with a fresh perspective, new strategies, or a renewed energy to shift in ways that are meaningful for you.

  • This is a great way to check out coaching, find connection and support, as well as learn more about a topic that interests you.

Classes are designed to be affordable, create new awareness around a particular topic, offer connection with others who hold a similar interest,  complement private coaching, or be an introduction to coaching in general.
